Grounds
The plot at the top of the village where the proud medieval Castle sits, is 820m² large of which the courtyard garden, protected by stone walls, with its lovely swimming pool, is about 400m². This is a nice size to enjoy the garden with its beautiful scenery; this size of outdoor space is very rare for a 12th Century Castle. There are various entrances; one of it is very romantic- passing under the courtyard garden. Down in the valley there are some more plots of land of about 4.2ha; they have never ever been cultivated nor had the grass cut; so it is to expect that it became scrubland over time.

General Condition
The dwelling is in very good condition overall and can be lived in straight away. There is oil central heating, the bathrooms have been gradually renewed, and most of the electricity conforms to the current rules. Some windows are double glazed, others are single glazed. However there will be some updating work required, depending on your taste and needs. Most of the large beautiful vaulted stone rooms are not used, such as the basement. It is to be noted that by car, access is only to the garage at the top of the property. All the other levels have pedestrian access.
