The historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, is around 25 minutes drive from the property. Tomar is a popular location for visitors and has a large variety of cafes, restaurants, bars, bus and train station and other historic monuments.

The closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon, which is around one and three quarter hours' by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by a variety of low cost airlines which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries
