This property gets a lovely breeze in summer, being on the hill. It is quaint yet modernised with exposed stonework, beams and thatched ceilings as well as the usual A/C and fitted kitchen. Palea Vrisi in Greek means “Old Tap” or “Spring” and the lane is where the villagers used to take their goats to collect water from the ravine. Now it is a peaceful cul de sac and the area attracts creative types: the British lady neighbour is a potter with studio in her garden, and the village itself is very friendly and quiet yet so close to Paphos and shops. Tremithousa village has the only organic food shop in Paphos – and this is in walking distance, with larger supermarkets and pharmacy on the main Polis road a slightly longer walk away. The garden is gated and can get two cars into the drive off road. There is a lovely fruit tree which burgeons with the traditional yellow Cyprus fruits in the Spring. The large covered patio is perfect for summer tea parties and the vine in the garden provides shade if you like relaxing outside. This stone village house, on one level, would suit anyone with disabilities as there are no stairs, as well as a peace-loving single person or couple.
